Had wanted to do baj-hegy today, but, as I had already intuited, I was too tired. I actually cycled there which was "good" as I bumped into somebody there  and received some bad news - not for me, but about their life. Anyway, what I was worried about, soon proved to be true as after 200 metres I realised the hill running would be too much so I played safe and did a an OL lap. I was climbing yesterday so yesterday wasn't a rest day. While walking back to the car I realised that my Nike shoes where in a very bad shoes. I did put them on but then, last minute, I remembered my off-road Asics shoes and I wore them. They had a positive and a negative side - right from the start no achilles problem but my outside left foot hurt a lot by the end which far out-weighed the achilles aspect. I started off very slowly so I was pleasantly surprised by my time as I was worried I wouldn't be able to break 35 mins, never mind 34. Unfortunately, as I climbed from 09.00-17.00 yesterday and only ate hot food at 19.00 which, of course inc. beans, I had 1 Ps, after 2.61 kms. Ran in T-shirt.  4.42,4.46,4.50,4.51,4.56,4.44,4.33,16.6 av. Quite a strong wind but In was in the right direction! I had already thooght about the idea of just doing the OL today and tomorrow because of the race on Sunday so it won't be the end of the world if that's what I end up doing.
