Look at that, even faster than my race time and 31 secs faster than my previous best. There are 2 factors that maybe played a part, in fact one definitely played a part - I miscalculated the date and went in the wrong direction but because of the wind that was "right" direction. The other factor was that I decided just to do my stretching routine today so maybe that helped. Great weather which was a very nice surprise for me. As soon as I started I felt I was moving well. Unfortunately, as I expected, I had to Ps, in fact 2x, and in the first 4.45 kms. My km splits, which I haven't looked at yet, were....4.32,4.25,4.27,4.31,4.29,4.34,4.14,16.1 av. so I didn't slow down in the 5th km which is good news and my 4.34 6th km is where I had the wind in my face.
