After last week's experience, decided to only aim for 55 kms a week so a shorter run today. Didn't do toe-touching exercises this morning in an effort to see if that would help me run. Maybe it did, I don't know. Made the mistake of wearing my road shoes so several kms were very slow due to the now icy conditions underfoot as the snow melts. As far as I know today is the last day of winter but it's already much milder so only 1 pair of gloves, no headband and only 1 layer under my jacket. Did wear thermal bottoms but that was because of my leg. Also wore cap until the bakery, on the way home, as it was raining/hailing when I set off. 2 ps.
Did the 5 kms to the KC and then to the trees and then home via the bakery - new variation!!!!
5.10,5.18,5.29,5.36,5.10,5.08,5.13,5.00,4.39 - wanted at least 1 km under 5 mpk and having the wind behind me I felt that was the minimum - 4.53,13.5 av.
