did this new off-roadish route as an out and back - had to add on 40 metres at the end. Wore off-road shoes but it was surprisingly unmuddy- 2 ps whcih was hardly a surprise on the basis I had had baked beans the previous 2 evenings. Set off with NIke on but tokk it off before the railway as it wasn'r raining until near the end.
Came up with the idea of turning left near the end in order to avoid those fucking dogs. Quite a strong wind which was against me on the was there and in the direction of Tata. Coming back the same way meant I got practise at downhill running on an uneven surface, killing my hips.
4.58,4.58,4.47,5.15,5.19,5.09,5.47 so lost 1.13 on a 5 min pace.
5.04,4.44,4.41,4.42,4.55,4.57,4.54 so got back 1.03. plus 2 secs for the end so will be 5.00 or 5.01 av.
so done this weeks ration, plus 1 km, so have to run 29 more kms to make up for last week.
