Eventually got out of work and started this tempo run around Margit island. My intention was a warm up, then 3 laps - getting faster and faster.
Wow I feel out of shape at times. The first one was bad. I need to get to 4m15 pace per km, and I was way off.
Fortunately I pushed and pushed and my pace on the last one was 4m25 or so. Still wanting to do 4m15 for 21km seems a long way off now :(
I'll have to do a few special training runs to make the difference before mid November, and I guess swimming starts again very soon.
For now I am really tired - that was hard, very hard.
