Cambridge park run. Wow!
First kilometer at 3:40 pace - unheard of for me. I can hardly do that in my intervals and I couldn't keep up with those people.
Next km at 3:50 - still very good, I was hanging on to a group there for a while, but eventually they slipped away, anyway I was still way ahead of target - 30 seconds.
3rd km was 3;50 again, 4th about 4 mins 10 secs, and the last about 4 minutes. Sprinting at the end was hard, but I try not to put so much effort into it and increase the cadence and stride length.
I was almost disappointed at 19:27 given the good start, but I have to remember this is 37 seconds better than my previous best. 37 seconds!!!! Wow!
