The plan said 6 miles at threshold pace. I tried to look it up, but am not totally sure what threshold pace is. I guess it is the lactate acid threshold.
Well I knew that on Sunday - for my 10K I went off too fast - heart rate was 158 at the begining and I couldn't keep it up, so tried to keep it around 154.
I felt quite good around 40-70%, stronger when running than I have felt for a while - real fitness is not far off now. About 80% of way through I struggled breathing wise.
Good that I was faster than last Sunday, I just need to pay a little more attention to the heart rate I guess.
