Unfortunately Yolanda came home very late - 03.15- and woke me up and of course I didn't have good sleep after that. Another consequence was that I got up at 07.00 when I would have hoped to get up earlier otherwise. I didn't finish all my exercises and I forgot to take my watch with me which is why I've entered such a strange time. It was actually 2.25 but that included all my stops. Luckily the weather was good and I actually wore a T-shirt. I don't where I had got the idea that the walk would be about 400m climbing, but I had subsequently realised it was more like 550m. The main hill was a very long drag which I been up more than once before but never non-stop running but in my very tired state (due to lack of sleep) it was very hard. I knew before the long downhill at the end, which seemed to go on for ever, there was another hill, but thankfully that was only hard because by that time the bad sleeping had led to me being very tired and I struggled to get up the hill. I didn't see any other runners unfortunately. I added on half a km because of going the wrong way once. My average speed was 11.78 kph. It was lucky I had decided to only do the shorter distance as there was no way I could have done the longer distance after the horrible night's sleep.
